Do You Still Feel Sexy?

When I was in my teens, it took very little to put my mind in the gutter — a nice butt in Levi 501’s, a sniff of Polo, and I was a mess of hormones. In my twenties it was all about the right music, the right wine, and men who were petrified of commitment. In my thirties I was wrapped up in getting married and making a few babies. And now … the things that get me going are pretty specific … my husband in Calvin Klein boxer briefs, the Phil Phillips performance of Usher on Idol, a hot dad at my kids’ preschool … and I’m pretty typical. If you go to my Babble blog, I queried my friends to find out what turns them on and posted the fascinating results. Enjoy. P.S. one of my friends said Keith Morrison from Dateline and I totally get that!

It’s funny how turn-ons change with age. However, I seem to have stayed at the mentality of a 12 year old boy when it comes to something being sexual and therefore comical.
Also, congratulations on the show deal!

i should have totally submitted. had I known you too love a 22 year old contestant on American Idol. oh Phillip Phillips. He is definitely doing it for me these days. And when I heard he was doing Usher? I had to stand up to watch-I was so squirrely.

Sounds like we had the same turn-on’s through the years. Ah, Polo cologne, where have you gone? Hopefully to 80’s Hell. I get the Keith Morrison thing. I’m a fan of his FB page, which I don’t think he actually started, and I’m even a fan of the Keith Morrison’s Voice page. People post some of the craziest comments on there. I think I’d like him to read me Fifty Shades of Grey in that wonderful, soothing voice.

Turn-ons really do change with age. When I was in my teens, it was just about looks and now it’s humor and intelligence.
