I’m the Same Age as Angelina Jolie!

Yesterday was my birthday. 32. Wow.

The thing about 32 is you are really out of your 20’s now. And my 20’s were some good times. But, I feel good about the rest of my 30’s. All of my decidedly older friends assure me that my 30’s will be a time of growing and learning from the mistakes I made in my 20’s.

Goals for my 30’s:
Take a trip around the world
Find my soulmate (but never say the word soulmate outloud)
Have some babies already
Party like a rock star
Start an IRA
Become a professional poker player

Goals for my 40’s (when I get there)
Make it through an entire movie on Netflix
Find a way to take a nap
Get tubes tied
Write thank you cards from daughter’s birthday last November.
Save up for Botox
Read a book (not just when I’m in the bathroom).
Get back to going to the gym more than once a month.
Get to lying about my age!!

Best birthday present ever!

Happy birthday! Mine’s coming up in August. I’m a little miffed, though, because all this year I thought I was 34. I thought my Myspace profile was incorrect when it said 33. But it was not. So now I basically get a do-over on 34, but I totally missed 33. Sigh. These are the details you miss when you have kids too close together. Thanks for the reminder on the Botox fund.

As I was reading, I kept thinking, “I thought Stef and I were closer in age…” and then I got to your goals for your 40’s. 😉

Hey, if nothing else, we have the same dual occupancy uterus experience linking us all….
(Where was that green dress when I was expecting twins?)

I’m sure your blog could totally kick Angelina Jolie’s blog.

Plus, you popped out your twins without needing to be at a $500/night hospital in France for a month.

Although, she does get to see Brad Pitt naked anytime she wants.

    So that’s a close one…

Oh, and happy birthday! At least you’re younger than America. No, not Ferrera. The original America.

Denise, I thought it was perfectly obvious that I’m not 32. But, I guess I wasn’t clear enough. Thanks for setting everyone straight. Bitch.

Happy Happy Birthday! I so wish I could go to BlogHer but too far for me to travel this year….I know it’ll be fun and you’ll be a hit too, book signing and all. How can I get a copy of your book here in Cairo, is it possible?

As of late, I only read in the bathroom, too. And I’ve had the same 3 Netflix films for 2 months.

I’ve got three months to pick my fake age, because I refuse to be 40 when I’m actually 40.

    Happy Birthday to you, Stefanie!

    Happy Birthday!

    Also, painful amounts of cute.

I schedule my entire life around what celebrity ladies are up to as they continue to squeeze creative-ly named babies out left and right.

Angelina actually looks older than 32 to me. I mean, her body is inarguably toned and whatnot. But there’s something hard-lived about her face. Not really in a bad way, but I honestly thought she was pushing 40.

Happy (insert age here) Birthday! I am 34 and cannot believe Angelina Jolie is younger than me. I think it’s all her “saving the world while I sit on the couch” that makes me feel like she’s the adult and I’m the kid.
