Hi everyone,
I have received a couple of emails from people who live locally asking how they can help and one person mentioned bringing food. People who are grieving forgot to eat (especially when immediately family is having to go back to their lives). I would like to coordinate an effort to bring meals to the Spohrs in the next few weeks. If you live locally, and would like to take part, please email me privately at babyonbored@gmail.com and I will set up a little task force so we’re organized and do not innundate her family.
I suppose like any Jew in times of trouble my thoughts immediately go to food – eating it and making sure other people do too.

Good for you. BTW, Lutherans do it too, crisis = food. It’s one of the few tangible ways people can help. I led a ministry at my church for years that did this sort of thing. What a wonderful friend you are.
Blessings.
Happy Passover.

The first thing I thought of was food- I wish I were local, but instead I'm sending an in&out certificate. From the Midwest, it's my tiny way of seeing to it that someone eats.

I wish I was there to lend a hand, but I’m so glad you’re doing it. Maybe I could send some cash instead, it would certainly be safer than sending my cooking.
